This Personal Data Protection Policy (hereinafter the “Policy”) describes how we manage the Personal Data we collect from forms, website registrations, telephone calls, emails, and other communications with you. We process your personal data in accordance with all applicable data protection regulations.

By accepting this Policy, using PATRIMONE’s services, registering for a PATRIMONE event, or otherwise providing your personal data to PATRIMONE, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Policy as well as to the processing and transfers of personal data carried out in accordance with it.

The personal data we collect in the context of our relationship includes:

Personal information: name, address, email, telephone numbers, gender, marital status, family information, date and place of birth, employer, job title and professional experience, relationship with the insured, beneficiary or claimant.

Identification information: national identification number, identity card number, driving licence number.

Financial information: bank account number, income information and other financial details.

Insured risk information, which may include personal data where appropriate to the insured risk, such as:
(1) medical data (current or past health conditions, health status, injuries or disabilities, relevant personal habits, medical history),
(2) criminal record data and criminal convictions, including traffic offences.

Information relating to insurance policies, quotations received by individuals, and policies obtained.

Information on past claims, which may include medical data, criminal record data, and other special categories of personal data.

Information on ongoing claims, which may include medical data, criminal record data, and other special categories of personal data.

Marketing data, depending on the lawfulness of processing, to receive advertising from us and third parties.

We use this personal data to:

Respond to your requests and communicate with you and others in the context of our activities.
Provide access to information made available online to users of our services.
Interact with you via our website.
Send newsletters if you subscribe.
Provide support and assistance.
Send important updates regarding our products, services, terms and conditions, and other administrative, technical or commercial information.
Decide whether to provide services to you.
Conduct surveys and market analysis, including satisfaction surveys.
Provide marketing information in accordance with your preferences.
Enable participation in our activities (forums, discussions, seminars, meetings and other events) and manage these activities.
Resolve complaints and manage data access or correction requests.
Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations, including AML/CFT laws and requests from public authorities.

Legal bases for processing include:

  • legal obligation;
  • legitimate interests;
  • public interest or official authority.

We do not use automated decision-making producing legal or significant effects.

PATRIMONE may share personal data with:

  • external service providers (insurers, experts, IT providers, hosting, printing, subcontractors);
  • authorities or legal parties;
  • third parties in case of restructuring, merger, sale or transfer of business.

PATRIMONE does not transfer data outside the European Union.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. Data is retained for 40 years after contract termination. For non-clients, data is deleted 12 months after consent.

You have rights of access, rectification, objection, deletion, restriction, and portability. Complaints may be lodged with the competent supervisory authority.
